Mani BhawanMani Bhawan is one of the important places to visit in Mumbai. It used to be the Mumbai residence of Mahatma Gandhi and now it is functioning as a Gandhi memorial. It is from this famous house No. 19, called Mani Bhawan, that Gandhiji was arrested in 1932. The main feature of this two storied building is that it houses a reference library with over 2000 books, a photo feature on the Mahatma's life, some memorabilia, an old Gandhiji's charkha and a film and recording archive. Prince of Wales MuseumLike the Gateway of India, the Prince of Wales Museum was also built to venerate King George's visit to Mumbai. The museum was constructed on the basis of the Indo -Saracenic style of architecture and was successfully completed in 1923. The Prince of Wales Museum boasts of exhibits in various areas like the art and paintings, archeology and natural history. Marine DriveMarine Drive- Chowpatty Beach is the most popular beach of Mumbai. The best way to discover Mumbai is to stroll down the Marine Drive. Presently this is the spot where Lord Ganesha's images are immersed after the conclusion of the Ganesha Chaturthi festival. Due to its curved shape and many streetlights, it was once called the Queen's Necklace. Marine Drive is a popular sea front; it is also the main thoroughfare linking Malabar Hills to the southernmost points of Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Nariman Point, and Fort.
