This hill station offers a magnificent view of the Himalayan range including the Kanchenjunga, and is therefore referred to as the 'Queen of Hill Stations'. A 2 km ropeway ride on the Rangeet Valley Ropeway between Darjeeling and Takyar which gives an overview of hills and the undulating valleys and tea gardens is an experience in itself.
